Damaged Goods
Once your order has been picked up from our facility it becomes your property and the shipping company is responsible for securing your item it transit to you. AAFW is not responsible for damages incurred by shipping company in route to your destination. Please carefully inspect your package upon arrival and report any damages to the carrier immediately, notate any damages on your delivery receipt. DO NOT refuse delivery.
When opening your package please inspect your mailbox carefully and if any apparent damage contact the shipping company immediately. Do not remove the mailbox or discard the packing materials as the shipping company may need to inspect the damages to validate your claim.
Once you have reported the damages to the shipping company contact us. We will take the necessary steps to repair or replace your mailbox accordingly.
Warranty:
AAFW offers a one (1) year limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship, provided the defect is reported to us within one (1) year of the delivery date. The warranty covers parts, materials, workmanship and finishes, and is limited to the cost of the mailbox.
The warranty does NOT cover shipping or installations cost, misuse, damage or alterations by customer or others, and does not cover natural weathering of the finish.
AAFW takes pride in producing quality products; blemishes or irregularities may occur during the fabrication process we will make every effort to meet your expectations of our products.
